I have recently just completed my exams for the semester. Have you ever made a promise to yourself that after all your exams you will get to do all the things you didn’t have the time to do while you were busy studying? That was me. In my case I told myself that I will sew some clothes, blog more and go out more with friends after my exams. Alas! Since pens-down I have been a home-body curled up in bed with the occasional trip to the bathroom or the kitchen.
I am such a lazy bum these past few days, I pinky-promise to get my act together and tick off the activities on the to-do list.
Enough with my venting, let’s talk about the little black dress. I never understood why people said that this was a wardrobe essential until I got just the right one from Topshop. I never understood the hype around the importance of having a little black dress in your wardrobe, I used to roll my eyes at all the fashion editors, oh boy was I totally wrong. The LBD is a safe item for me, the one you run to when you stand in front of your wardrobe – full of clothes – uttering these words, “I have nothing to wear!” I have since worn my LBD so many different ways at church, now that the days are getting chilly, I have layered underneath a white shirt or worn it with a blazer on top. Indeed this is a wardrobe essential.
I would like to know from you how do you wear your LBD, with what do you pair it with?
